HMS Spring Concert March 2018

Genre

The HMS Spring Concert has three widely different but equally fantastic works. Ernest Chausson wrote his only symphony in 1890 and it is considered his masterpiece. Described as emotionally invigorating, the symphony will show the extent of the talent in the HMS orchestra. The Chorus will perform with the orchestra in two totally different pieces – Holst’s Short Festival Te Deum and the well-known and much-loved Fauré Requiem.

James Ross conducts.
