PAIN AND GLORY (15) Image

The talk of this year's Cannes Film Festival, Pain And Glory tells of a series of re-encounters experienced by Salvador Mallo (Antonio Banderas), a film director in his physical decline. The film also stars Penélope Cruz and is directed and written by Pedro Almodóvar. During a 30th anniversary screening of his hit film 'Sabor', Salvador comes into contact with the troubled lead actor Alberto Crespo (Asier Etxeandia). The meeting forces the director to re-evaluate his past by bringing to light the experiences of his childhood, his first romance and his love of cinema. This film is in Spanish with English subtitles.

This is our independent film screening for October at 5 pm where tickets are all £5 plus 50 pence booking fee.
